Sharing Folders with Google Documents


This tutorial describes how to share a folder with Google Docs. This is an excellent feature for sharing multiple documents with a group of people without having to create different web links for each document.

Choose a folder to Share.

Either create a folder to share or share an existing folder





Share the folder with others.

Sharing the folder, shares all of the documents within the folder. Be sure to PRESS "Save and Close" to complete the sharing process.





Make the Folder Sharable

Share the folder with others by creating a link. Use a URL shortener like bit.ly or tinyurl to chorten the legth of the URL

It's all about SpicyNodes

So I've been looking for more creative ways to present information to students. I love Prezi and have stumbled upon Diigo Slides. My goal is to move away from powerpoint for in class presentations and use more interactive, non-predictable technologies.

I've always love concept maps (Inspiration user here) and mind maps (I heart MindMiester). SpicyNodes is a combination of the two.

Below is a SpicyNode I made for a lecture I gave on Web 2.0 to some grad students at George Mason University.
